Climate Change

DENIVA is implementing a Capacity strengthening of LDCs in Adaptation to Climate Change (CLACC) project in Uganda. The project is being implemented in 15 Low Developed Countries (LDC) by the International Institute of Environment and Development (IIED) and countries of which Uganda is a beneficiary. The major objective of this project is to support LDCs to adapt to climate change.

DENIVA is coordinating a Climate and Development Network (CDN), which is a network of civil society organisations that are participating in climate change, environment, poverty and other related issues. The CDN is involved in information sharing and dissemination, implementation of climate change adaptation projects, and advocacy. The network is open to both non-DENIVA and DENIVA Member Organisations. A climate change resource center is also being managed at the secretariat.

DENIVA is also coordinating a number of stakeholders who read, review and contribute to the tiempo magazine which is a climate change magazine produced by the International Institute on Environment and Development in UK.
